Know what a published state price measures
Some published comparisons describe implant placement alone, while other estimates include the abutment and crown. Before comparing a state figure with a treatment package, check the component definition, collection date and exclusions. An older survey should not be relabeled as a new annual price survey.
Understand the calculator methodology
The tool multiplies the base treatment by quantity, the selected quality factor and the state factor. Add-ons receive the state factor but not the quality factor. This is a simplified model.
