All-on-4 vs All-on-6 Cost: What Makes Quotes Different?

All-on-4 vs All-on-6 cost should be compared using the same arch count and final restoration. The names describe different implant-count approaches, but that difference alone does not establish the total price or determine which plan is suitable.

Plan your budget: Use our Dental Implants Cost Calculator to explore treatment and location scenarios. Confirm all fees with your dental provider.

Use the same specification for both quotes

Ask both providers to identify fixed versus removable treatment, final prosthesis material, temporary teeth and included appointments. Specify whether the comparison is for one arch or both. A one-arch package and a two-arch package cannot be compared by their headline prices.

Do not add two single-implant prices to an All-on-4 total

A full-arch treatment has shared surgical, restorative and laboratory work. Package pricing is not necessarily a sum of independent single-tooth procedures. Obtain a written alternative plan rather than manufacturing an All-on-6 price from another calculator option.

Ask why the treatment plan differs

Have the clinician explain the reasons for the proposed implant count and any related preparation. Keep clinical selection separate from an online budget estimate. A lower price is useful only when the plan addresses the patient’s needs and the quote accurately describes the treatment.

Include costs after the final restoration

Compare maintenance arrangements, repair terms and responsibility if a component needs attention. Check whether an out-of-area provider requires you to return for servicing. Add transport and time away from work to the comparison when they would meaningfully affect your budget.

Frequently asked question

Is All-on-6 always a fixed percentage more expensive?

No universal percentage is established here. Different materials, packages and clinical requirements can outweigh a simple implant-count comparison.

This guide is for budgeting and quote comparison. Calculator amounts are illustrative assumptions, not verified market averages, a diagnosis or a guaranteed price. Your clinician and any insurer must confirm the treatment and costs.
